About the GOV Reuse Library
Productivity is lost across government in trying to find or create elements that already exists - all because we work in silos.
The GOV.UK Reuse Library aims to fix this problem by surfacing reusable elements for all departments to use. This includes:
- Design systems
- Manuals
- Products
- Service patterns
- Standards
Our aim is to reduce duplication, increase transparency and promote cross-government collaboration. This is in line with the Government's blueprint for a modern digital government to ‘join up and act as one public sector' and 'strengthen and extend our digital public infrastructure'.
A team from the Ministry of Justice UK has built this site in collaboration with the Government Digital Service and the Department for Education.
